J.S. Richter, Ltd. Celebrates 25 Years

The CPA firm of J.S. Richter, Ltd. occupies a specific niche in the accounting profession. The Chicago based firm was founded in 1979 by Austrian born Jack Richter. The firm concentrates on working with U.S. subsidiaries of German, Swiss, and Austrian owned business enterprises.

J.S. Richter performs audits and other accounting services, including corporate taxes and special assignments for clients in various industries. The firm is also familiar with various European accounting and tax rules. This expertise facilitates the coordination of audit consolidations and tax planning with the parent company.

Jack Richter, who is also a board member of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the Midwest, and his son Michael Richter are partners. Michael also holds a degree in electrical engineering. His prior experience in machine construction brings an additional technical dimension to the practice.

The firm consists of three additional CPA's and two staff persons responsible for administrative functions.
